WAGNER, Mary Catherine
Mary Catherine Wagner passed away at Hospice of Palm Beach County on August 4, 2013. We have lost a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Mary was born in Butler, PA in 1921 and married Joseph Wagner in 1943, with whom she had two children, Timothy and Mary Jo. Mary moved to Florida in 1976, where she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, as well as spending time gardening in the Florida sunshine. She was an avid tennis player until she was nearly 90 years old as well as a volunteer Pink Lady at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Mary had a vast group of friends, all of whom she loved dearly. She will be missed very much, as she was the shining star in all of our lives. Though she is predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and siblings, William, Alma, Richard, ana Patricia; Mary is survived by her sister, Janet; her son, Timothy; her daughter, Mary Jo; her granddaughters, Ashley and Catherine; and her great-granddaughter, Camilla. A private celebration of her life will be held in the near future, with information to be provided by her family.
